Contrast

A rose picked two days before the first snow.

Thriving daisies.

A tropical indoor flower.

And…

Snowy branches.

Tight-packed and snow-brushed holly.

Evergreen leaves withstanding the first test of winter.

Brittle seedpods shivering in the wind.

What a contrast on the Saturday after thanksgiving, when Pittsburgh got its first snow of the late fall/early winter.
